math strand

Today in  math strand we had to do a map when the map asked us questions so we had to answer so here it is.I found it so so so so easy.

Inquiy

Past the last two weeks some of us got in to buddy's or by them selves and we choose   out of tower  and cars  and parachute bridges me and my friend Angela choose tower and we had to make a tower with newspaper and masking tape that will hold a basket ball. we have not tried it yet but hopefully it works wish me and Angela good luck and I found it pretty hard and Angela  found it pretty hard too. we also have not finished our design so you guys can not see it sorry😁😄😃😇

Today in math we had to a brain teaser. Today in literacy we had to do this thing were we had to  draw a cyclone so what you had to do is you had to go on your drive and make a new google drawing and then you had to do make your own cyclone  but you could only  use shapes or lines here is mine hope you like it  bye !!!!

straw rafts

In inquiry we are learning about the design process.

The design process is where you plan,design and test product or theory. Sometimes when you test it,
it doesn't work and you have to at the beginning again to see how you would make it better.

Mrs M'G gave us a challenge. we ha to plan 'design +build a straw raft to float 40g of weight on it.
we could only use starw and masking tape.
or if we failed a once we would have to go back and test it again so we could make it better .somethings that challenging was fixing it and  making it better

group problem solve patterns of squares

Today in math we had to try work out something in our groups we had to try and work out this it says ripeka and Jan were sitting around playing with toothpicks when rapeka stared making patterns of squares. then we had to try work out how many toothpicks would she had to use to make nine squares.
